Now is the time! Many smokers are thinking about quitting but fear and not knowing how to be successful can add up to be one too many roadblocks and prevent the quit attempt from ever starting. You can help yourself and those you know find the road to success with tips, tools and support from a trained tobacco cessation counselor.
Healthy Communities Partnership is pleased to announce that registration is now open for two upcoming Freedom From Smoking Clinics in Franklin County. HCP partners with local agencies to also offers Freedom From Smoking classes in Fulton, Huntingdon, Mifflin, and Juniata counties.
Freedom From Smoking® Class Dates:
CHAMBERSBURG: Tuesdays, starting May 14th, 2019 and continuing through July 2nd, 2019 at 6:30pm/ Class will be held at the Chambersburg Hospital in the Cafeteria Meeting Room, 112 N. 7th St, Chambersburg.
WAYNESBORO: Mondays, starting May 13th, 2019 and continuing through July 1st, 2019 at 6:30pm/ Class will be held at the Waynesboro Hospital in the Family Birthing Services Classroom, 501 E. Main St, Waynesboro.
Registration is requested and additional information can be obtained by calling HCP at 717.264.1470 x109. Classes, support and nicotine replacements are offered without charge to those who register for the program. If you have patients or clients who are considering attending the class, HCP is happy to contact them and begin the registration process.
