2020 Go Girls Goes Spooky Virtual 5K

Go Girls Go! is a program currently serving Franklin County for girls in 4th-6th grade that is designed to improve their health and well-being through educational lessons and physical activity.  As part of the program, participating girls prepare to run in the culminating 5K race. Usually we hold this race at the end of each season, but this year our program was moved online due to social distancing guidelines. Because of this, our Go Girls Go! 5K will be a VIRTUAL 5K event this season.

The 2020 Go Girls Goes SPOOKY 5K will be held on the week of October 25-31, 2020.  Registration for this year's event will be FREE. The race is open to the public and can be run (or walked) anytime that week, from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, or on the treadmill. The 5K = 3.1 miles. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself! Costumes are optional, but encouraged! We will not be offering race awards but we will be sending out  random prizes chosen from the list of participants, so be sure to register and share with your friends.
